Yesterday in 2002, bus service changes happened in the MTA. One of them was the B40 and B78 merged to form the B47, with some parts of these routes being discontinued. The other one is that the B18 was merged into the B13, with a part of the route being discontinued. SO happy belated birthday, B47 and happy death anniversary to the B18, B40, and B78 routes!
